- Speaking with strained voices to
be heard above the police helicopter circling overhead, those
at the podium delivered messages to the demonstrators gathered
about the stage that were loud and clear:

- TOM PALUMBO TRIAL 3/26/2007
- Tom, from VETS for Peace,
appeared in court March 26th to face the charge of criminal
trespassing. He was arrested while trying to deliver
letters to stop the war escalation. The plaintiff was the
property owner who didn't show up in court. The judge
cancelled the trial and Tom promptly delivered the letters:

BYRD PARK 4th ANNIVERSARY
VIGIL
Speakers and representatives of
5 different faiths met at Byrd Park on the 4th
anniversary of the Iraq War, March 18, 2007, to commemorate
the 3200 American soldiers and many Iraqis who have
died.
